TRFA offers individual and group rowing and paddling lessons to people with sensory disabilities.  TRFA continues to build partnerships with groups and nonprofits to provide adaptive rowing and paddling programs to people with sensory disabilities including Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the National Federation for the Blind.

All people with hearing disabilities and visual impairments regardless of age, experience or athletic ability.

All TRFA lessons are located at the Texas Rowing Center, 1541 W. Cesar Chavez St. Austin, TX 78703.

Where

Group or private lessons can be arranged by contacting Tony Kuhn.  Each lesson runs roughly 90 minutes and can be scheduled Monday - Friday from the hours of 9:00AM - 4:00 PM and Saturday - Sunday between the hours of 10:00AM - 3:00 PM.

When

We work with the hearing and visual impaired to offer a successful experience teaching all about the sports of rowing and paddling. TRFA uses adaptive equipment that allows each individual to succeed at a high level. We can set up training plans to prepare you to achieve a desired goal.

Private rowing and paddling lessons cost $30 per 90 minute lesson. Group paddle outings cost $10 per person of a 90 minute lesson. TRFA offers scholarships and discounts for anyone who is in need of assistance.
