Summer Camps

Who: Any individual with a disability ages 8 and up that is looking for a fun outdoor experience. Siblings and friends are welcome to attend as well.

What: TRFA offers two different summer camps: Camp Kayak and Rowing Camp. Camp Kayak is our most popular camp where TRFA coaches and volunteers teach each camper to successfully kayak, canoe, and paddle board. Along with that we explore other areas on and around Lady Bird Lake. TRFA’s Rowing Camp provides each camper with a “crash course” into the sport of rowing. Each camper will learn how to row using indoor rowing machines, dock trainer, rowing barge, and different sized rowing shells.

When: This year TRFA will be hosting eight weeks of summer camps, both Rowing Camps and Camp Kayaks! Below are the weeks of camp:

June 3-7, June 17-21, June 24-28

July 8-12, July 15-19, July 29-2

August 5-9

Where: All Summer Camps are held at the Texas Rowing Center, 1541 W. Cesar Chavez St. The sign in area will be at a table next to the Texas Rowing For All banner.

Pricing: Camp cost are $200.00 per camper attending. Camp fees will provide water, snacks, and a Camp T-Shirt.
